We stayed at Casa Paloma in November 2010. Our intimate wedding was held on the rooftop terrace palapa and the reception was on the main level terrace overlooking the Pacific. Not only was it the most amazing setting for a wedding we also enjoyed a fantastic week of relaxation there with our family. The house does not disappoint; the location you can’t beat, the hillside provides a buffer from the lively town but still close enough to walk to and from the beach or town for dinner. The layout is perfect for multiple families or couples, enough privacy and space for everyone. The gardens are immaculate and pool the perfect temperature. We were worried the pool would be too cold but it was wonderful. We also enjoyed the golf cart and were able run into town for groceries or to the liquor store. If you come with a family …babies etc…don’t worry the house can totally accommodate with playpen, portable sun umbrella etc. even a floating water pad for the baby in the pool. The beds were comfy and we had hot water every day; not to mention filtered water out of the tap. Staff were super, and helped with all our needs. Everything is within walking distance so you really do not need a car; unless you plan to travel out of town. San Pancho is only a 10 minute bus ride away. Mosquitoes seemed to steer clear of this property maybe because of the nice soothing ocean breeze. We used the transportation listed by the owner and they treated us exceptionally well, arrived with cold drinks and made stops at the Mega store as well. Honestly we could not have picked a better spot, we were treated to fireworks on more than 1 occasion from weddings at Don Pedros and it seemed anywhere at the house you could watch them. The artwork in the home was icing on the cake we were so impressed by the paintings we located the artist along the river in San Pancho and bought our own to take home. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, just a few more nights on the hammock or lounging by the pool drinking yet another Margarita.
