Perfect Venue for my Retirement Celebration Trip!

“Casa Paloma was the perfect location for a family trip to celebrate my recent retirement. We had plenty of room for our eleven guests, including the casita for my daughter, son-in-law, and their toddler. The guest guide and other resources were very helpful, and both Indigo and Ernesto were very responsive in helping us with arrangements for our group. We also hired Dora to cook several delicious meals for us which saved us the trouble of trying to find places for dinner with a large group.
“We also loved the laid-back vibe of Sayulita, which is much less hectic than the big resorts and was perfect for us. However, we chose Sayulita mainly because of Casa Paloma, which had been recommended by an acquaintance who has stayed there several times.
“I highly recommend Casa Paloma, especially for family groups.”

“We had a great stay. Breathtaking views from main floor and rooftop patio/bar. Nice big house that worked very well for our group of 10 (5 teenagers and 5 adults). Pool was a bonus. Super easy to get to town. We didn’t rent a golf cart at first but did after a couple of days for convenience and some group members didn’t want to walk up the hill. As we got closer to weekend, you could hear music from town. But worthwhile trade off for being so close to town and the beach. Dora the house keeper/chef was terrific. Kept the house tidy and made a few great breakfasts and dinners for us. Overall terrific property and experience.”

“We recently stayed at Casa Paloma and were amazed at how wonderful our time was there. The house is so great with amazing views from every deck and room that so put us into a relaxed state!!! It was one of the best vacations I have ever had! We were so close to town and the beach , just two blocks away, which was wonderful. Then we we retreat back into this amazing house above the hustle and bustle. Truly enjoyed this private oasis, the tropical gardens, and all the gorgeous art in every room, the great Ocean view pool and was so happy to have AC in every bedroom! My favorite part was the incredible views, they are priceless!! We are definitely planning our next trip there ASAP!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Casa Paloma. Our group of 12 (3 families traveling together) had plenty of room to spread out. The house is very unique in that the first and second floors each have their own entrance with no stairs within the home connecting them. Additionally the casita has its own entrance and each bedroom has a key code lock because the home is open air in the main living areas. We all got our share of going up and down stairs that week for sure! But it totally worked great. We loved the pool area and the second floor main living space. It was very hot and humid so we did not use the palapa as much as we had hoped, mostly after dark or early in day to read in hammock. It was just too hot during the day. AC in bedrooms was necessary to escape the heat and humidity. The town was an easy walk down the lighted path- harder coming back up but totally doable! We enjoyed the proximity to the town and not needing a golf cart. Found some favorite spots to eat and all easy to navigate.
“The main beach was very hot- we had to get umbrellas and chairs to be down for any length of time and sadly the incessant flow of people peddling jewelry, fruit, hats, bags, massages – everything under the sun somewhat ruined the vibe for us. I think we all had to say no thank you at least 100 times daily. A golf cart would have been nice to ride down to the north end and escape to the quieter beach where you aren’t hassled to buy things all day.
“Dora kept the house very tidy which was much appreciated, bringing fresh towels as requested and making the beds daily. She also cooked two delicious meals for us while we were there. Ernesto was readily available if needed and always happy to help.”

“We had a group of 9 stay at Casa Paloma for a girls trip. I spent a LOT of time figuring out where to stay and this was absolutely the right choice.
“I knew there would be views but they were even more stunning in person. The beds were the most comfortable of maybe any home/ hotel I have stayed in in recent memory. Also the house has a reverse osmosis filtration system which kept anyone from getting sick! There were safes in the room, the bedroom doors lock, and there was a guard outside. We felt incredibly safe and had no issues.
“We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and the roof top, both of which were phenomenal. Dora cooked us a few meals which were delicious. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond. Our trip was seamless and we simply could not have had a better time. We will definitely be back.”

“We have stayed at Casa Paloma multiple times and it never fails to delight. The view is breathtaking, the location is super convenient, and the comfort level is on a par with great hotels. Love the decor and comfortable furniture. Everything worked. Dennis’ on-on-the ground team was attentive but unobtrusive. The location makes it easy to explore everything Sayulita has to offer. “The house was perfect for our family of 13 for a week. Everyone had their own beautiful space to relax in while there was plenty of areas to hang out as a family. Dora spoiled us with cooking our first night meal and several breakfast for us, as well as, keeping the house cleaned for us. The location was perfect for walking to town to the beach, shopping, and dinners. This was my third time visiting Sayulita and now that my adult children have all fell in love with the town too, we will definitely be back and would not hesitate to stay at Casa Paloma again.”

“Our stay Casa Paloma was nothing short of spectacular! The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with immaculate cleanliness and a sense of spaciousness that instantly made us feel at home. Each room having its own bathroom was a luxurious touch that added to our comfort and convenience.
“The highlight for our kids was undoubtedly the lovely small pool, where they spent hours splashing and playing, creating cherished memories. The fact that the property was a short walk to town struck the perfect balance for us – close enough to easily explore the vibrant streets and beaches of Sayulita, yet far away enough to enjoy peaceful evenings away from the hustle and bustle.
“Dennis’ team truly made our experience exceptional. Ernesto, the property manager, was incredibly attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. Dora, the housekeeper and chef, delighted us with delicious meals and kept the space pristine. Indigo’s communication prior to our trip was flawless, answering all our questions promptly and making us feel welcomed even before we arrived.
“We can’t recommend this vacation rental enough – it’s a true gem in Sayulita, offering comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!”

“We chose this house for our annual family gathering, and feel it more than surpassed our expectations. It was perfect for our family of 12 adults and 3 kids – each couple/family unit had private space, and the public gathering space was ample for meals, game nights and morning coffee with the kids. The location, walkable to both the beach and the town within minutes, was perfect for us. Even the youngest kids could easily walk up and down the hill to the beach. It may be our favorite place we’ve ever gone, and that includes lots of locations around the world! The pool was perfect for both the littles and the bigs. Sayulita itself is a charming, walkable village, and the beach and weather are perfect. We would highly recommend this home to large families or groups looking for the perfect vacation spot!”

We had an incredible stay in Sayulita and are so grateful to Dennis, Indigo, Ernesto and Dora for making our stay incredible less than 24 hours after Hurricane Lidia. The house is gorgeous, well-equipped and minutes from the heart of Sayulita. Daily breakfast on the patio overlooking the beach, yoga on the roof, and a wonderful Saturday lounging around the pool were all incredible moments. House comfortably sleeps 5-6 couples and was more than enough space to host our friends for an anniversary celebration. If we return to Sayulita with a large group ever again, this is where we’ll stay.

“Our group had such an amazing stay at Casa Paloma! So many unique areas to hang out, but the favorite was definitely the rooftop deck with perfect 180 degree views of the town and ocean. Came here for 6 days with our 3 kids and their families. Plenty of room for all of us. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Spacious, clean and beautiful. Dora, the housekeeper, was wonderful. She cooked 3 fantastic meals for us and did our laundry ($5 a load–laundry room is not open to tenants). Also used their recommended car service from the airport which was prompt and very pleasant. Views are gorgeous. The walk to town is down a path which was easily navigated (my husband and I are in our 70’s and we had no problem). The beach is also a very short walk and is great. All in all everyone had a fantastic time!

Casa Paloma well exceeds expectations, even with the beautiful pics available online. Communication was excellent between us and Ernesto, the property manager. Some things came up here and there throughout the week, but Ernesto took care of everything immediately. Dora, the housekeeper, kept the house in great shape but was by no means intrusive. We chose to have Dora cook breakfast for our group daily, because the first day was so delicious and easy. She’s also adorable. We were concerned before the trip about safety, but we never felt unsafe, either on the property, walking into town, or walking around town. There is a strong presence of locals trying to sell you things on the beach, but they do accept a polite, “no thank you.” The view from the house is unreal. Being able to see the surf break made for constant entertainment. Bluetooth speakers are great, all over the property. We did find a scorpion in a shower, so be careful there. That is just something you have to watch out for apparently in that part of the world. I don’t know what else to say. Our party of ten (5 couples in our late 40’s who have been friends for around 25 years) was just blown away with the house, service, town, and our trip. Ten stars. Highly recommend.

Casa Paloma and the wonderful chef Dora are a delight. From large, well air conditioned bedrooms to lots of spaces to tuck away – we enjoyed our stay immensely. Dora made several breakfasts and dinners making the stay easy and delicious. A couple helpful comments. They provide bath towels and pool towels so only need your own if going to beach. Dora comes in daily for a quick bed making and towel pickup if needed ( we did not) The coffee maker takes ground coffee. We hung out on the upper floor the most so if you go to bed early, take a downstairs bedroom. (Your group may choose a different hang out spot) The guide by Dennis is excellent and take advantage of his hints. The massages were excellent. Thank you!

“Casa Paloma is a magnificent home! Beautifully designed, offering privacy for all staying and amazing views! We originally planned on only one meal to be prepared by chef Dora, however we ended having her cook all dinner meals except one!!! She was so wonderful!!! Even offered cooking tips to those of us interested.
“The only notes of recommendation is that for the money we spent to stay at Casa Paloma, it would have been nice to have newer or kept up bedding and home essentials. There were a few areas of the home that looked like they haven’t been kept up as good as they could/should be. In addition, the water temperature and pressure was very very unreliable, which could easily be the area of the home not necessarily anything that could be rectified by the owner.
“All in all it was an amazing stay! Ernesto and Dora were extremely accommodating!!! I would highly recommend Casa Paloma!!”– Lisa

“Our family of 10 had the most amazing time at Casa Paloma! We loved gathering each morning for coffee in the shared open spaces and gazing at the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful beach as Sayulita was waking up. My husband is an architect and we have stayed at many gorgeous places on beaches, but he said Casa Paloma was his favorite. The views!! Everyone had plenty of private space in their bedroom suites and we left feeling happy, restored and closer as a family. And we simply love the pretty town of Sayulita, which is just down the hill. Our boys are surfers, so they loved that they didn’t have to drive to the surf. Yet, the waves are gentle enough for families too. The manager Ernesto was awesome and tended to our every need and Dora, our housekeeper, cooked several delicious meals and was so sweet. We can’t wait to return to Casa Paloma!!”

Beautiful home, incredible view and wonderful location. We opted not to get golf carts this year since getting to town and the beach were so easy. Bedrooms all feel very private except for the one behind the main floor kitchen since it’s kind of a pass-through room to the stairs if you’re renting the entire house (we had 9 women) – but not a huge issue. Lots of stairs but absolutely worth it for the views. Communication was all easy and we didn’t have any issues with the property or services – whole thing felt safe/secure. Would definitely rent again.

Lovely stay! We loved the house and Sayulita. Dora (house cleaner and chef) and Ernesto (house manager) we’re excellent. Sayulita is so walkable (yes house is on a hill but felt good) and it means the house has three floors of ocean views!
Sayulita was the perfect size. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, beach, and live music in multiple spaces every night.
Four couples stayed at this property with plenty of space. Structure is three beautiful bedrooms with nice windows. Two nice bedrooms with limited windows. One bedroom that is similar to the ones with limited windows but you have to walk through it to get to the rooftop. We choose to leave that one empty. All have bathrooms which is amazing! We loved having three floors of living space because we could all be together or apart.

Our extended family of ten rented out Casa Paloma for 7 days during the Christmas holiday. This house is amazing!!!! There was plenty of space for our family and the home was so large we were each able to retreat to “private” spaces as necessary. The interior design is beyond incredible and the views are OUT OF CONTROL! The home is located so close to the ocean, you can hear the waves lying in bed with the door closed!! Note – if you are staying in Sayulita during the holiday season – please be prepared for LOUD fireworks and street closures. Other than that – it is a magical time of year in Sayulita!! This was our 8th time visiting Sayulita, and Casa Paloma will go down as one of the best homes we’ve ever had the privilege to stay in!

This was our first visit to Sayulita, and Casa Paloma turned out to be a great choice for our family. It’s hilltop location affords amazing views of the town of Sayulita and its beaches from the first floor and rooftop terraces. The grounds are very well maintained, and we made a point of ensuring we utilized all the beautiful spaces throughout our stay. Many afternoons and early evenings were spent enjoying the pool. We were able to walk to everything we needed, utilizing the dedicated path to walk down to town. Although a little steep on the climb back up, members of our group made multiple trips each day to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Yah-Yah Café was an easy walk for coffees and breakfast as well. Ernesto, the property manager was responsive to any questions and requests we had. We greatly appreciated Dora the housekeeper coming each day and we had her prepare and serve a delicious breakfast and dinner for us. Our thanks to Dennis and his entire team for assistance in making this a memorable stay!

The place to stay in Sayulita

This is the right place to stay if you’re going to Sayulita and want to be able to walk to everything. The property itself is fantastic, situated at the end of a secluded street along with several other gated houses. Inside the gate are well-maintained tropical plantings and tiled pathways. The house is perfect for multiple families. While everyone is close, there are four living areas (a bedroom by itself on the ground level, then two bedrooms with living space and kitchen that opens to the patio on the ground level, and again another bedroom with dedicated patio on the first floor and a two-room area with the upstairs kitchen and living space). For us, this was a perfect division across family groups and age groups.
The view from the house, and in particular the 1st floor and the rooftop patio, is fantastic–you can see all of Sayulita’s beaches and central markets/restaurants/bars. It sits at the top of a hill, but is only a short walk down a dedicated path to get into town. We found that most everything was easily walking distance, although we did choose to rent a golf cart. I recommend the golf cart partly because it is fun and partly because if you need to go to the bank, for example, it can be a long walk only to find out they have run out of cash at the ATM.
Speaking of cash–expect to pull cash (specifically pesos) frequently, but do pay heed to the advice provided by the owner/staff with respect to which ATMs to use. We found that Google Pay/Apple Pay was accepted at a lot of places like the grocery store and higher-value shops, but food and services tended more towards cash only. Generally vendors will let you pay in dollars or pesos, but the premium on using dollars could be as high as 25% versus the formal exchange rate. So in other words, pull pesos, but be aware that it is common for the ATMs to run out of cash, and that the ATMs also have relatively low per-transaction maximums (though many allow you to just perform multiple transactions).
Back to the house. Great pool, stocked with the appliances and kitchen needs, AC worked perfectly, heated pool, grill with both gas and charcoal, daily cleaning, etc. Easy, as you’d want it on vacation. The staff, both at the property (property manager, housekeeper) as well as for Dennis, are *super* communicative and even more helpful. Easily the best experience I’ve had in that area, and *way* beyond what I would expect. Superb, and would highly recommend.

“We had a lovely stay at Casa Paloma.
“The views and location are excellent. Short walk to the beach and to the town.
“We especially loved and used often the big open dining room to deck overlooking the beach.
“Dora, the housekeeper and cook was excellent – she made us breakfast and lunch daily and was happy to accommodate our various dietary requests.
“Ernesto was very responsive to any questions we had and dropped by immediately to fix things as requested.
“The house is large and well appointed – the local art displayed throughout is original and a step above the usual which was quite delightful.
“Three of the bedrooms are amazing with big doors opening onto west (ocean facing) decks west. The other three rooms not so much so this is something to be aware of if you are planning on using all of them and everyone is chipping in the same amount of money as it won’t seem fair. Something to discuss before you arrive.”– Stacy, Vancouver, Canada

“Casa Paloma was the perfect place to celebrate our birthday with friends in paradise. The house is well suited for a large group with plenty of space to hang out together and privacy with every beautifully appointed room. The views are exceptional, the decor is beautiful and each bedroom was comfy, private, and had its own bathroom. The pool is fabulous…kept in the shade with its own outdoor shower and toilet so no need to track water in the house when enjoying pool time. The staff was first class…Dora not only kept the house clean but cooked some of the most amazing authentic Mexican food we’ve ever had. Ernesto ensured our grocery delivery was set up on arrival and helped arrange a handy golf cart rental for us which was delivered and picked up at the house. He even arranged for massage therapists to come on site-and they were incredible…better than therapists at most spas in the US. He also was on call for any questions and handled all our needs flawlessly. It is hard to plan 5 days away with a large group. Casa Paloma made it all easy allowing us to unplug on arrival. Will absolutely be back!”

Wow! Where to begin – Casa Paloma is a beautiful property in the heart of Sayulita. Although only a 5 minute walk from town, the house still feels tucked away and peaceful with expansive views of the ocean.
Planning transportation, meals, massages, and activities prior with the property management team was a breeze. Ernesto, the property manager went above and beyond with last minute requests and was quick to respond to any questions or changes we had.
We were a group of 13 and the trip was totally seamless with no hiccups mostly thanks to Ernesto, Indigo, and Dennis the owner. Thank you!
The layout of the house is great for communal and family living, the bedrooms are nicely spread a part so people can have as much private time as needed. The bedrooms are gorgeous. One note, the 5 bedrooms with queen or king beds feel comparable and equally lovely while the bedroom with 2 – 3 single beds feels a bit smaller and less substantial. It is a great room for kids but adults might be desiring one of the other rooms.
All in all this was a 10/10 vacation for all 13 of us and we highly recommend it! Definitely have at least a few breakfasts cooked by the chef. Also the enchilada dinner we had by the chef was our favorite out of any restaurant we tried on the trip!
Thank you again Casa Paloma team – we’ll definitely be back!

THIS. HOUSE. If you want the full experience of living in a lush, tropical oasis while enjoying the pleasures of modern necessities like air conditioning and hot water, this is your place! The indoor-outdoor living space was better than I imagined. You feel one with nature hanging on the terrace, eating breakfast and dinner together, or listening to music and vining with your friends, yet still have the privacy and comfort(ac) in your sleeping quarters. This house provided more than enough room for all 12 of us, Dora is an amazing cook, the location is literally unbeatable… and the view. THE VIEW. We sat on the upstairs terrace every morning and every evening taking the views in. It truly is a beautiful oasis and I could not have chosen a better place for our stay. You will not regret choosing this for your stay in Sayulita!

We loved this house! The location is outstanding. So easy to walk to town and the beach. We utilized, Dora, the chef and she was a great cook, punctual and so kind. The pool was perfect for our kids, as it provided a place for the toddlers to be able to stand. We loved having separate spaces for our two families as well. There were some small ants in the entryways but probably unavoidable considering how the house is laid out. We loved being able to request certain luxuries on the request form and the communication was pretty great overall. However we didn’t get confirmation of certain activities that we requested until we asked upon arrival and wish we would’ve had that planned and set ahead of time.

My family of 9 stayed at this wonderful property, which is so close to the beach and downtown. The house is on two levels with an area to hang out at the top. The rooms were nice and spacious. It’s mostly outdoor living with enclosed rooms. The pool was was great for my 3 year old. You can’t beat the views from this house. Absolutely recommend!

Awesome spot for a large group. Super close to town, no need for a golf cart. The communication was incredible from start to finish. Indigo checked in with us after the booking was made and also sent a guide a few weeks beforehand that included a questionnaire to collect room arrangement requests, airport transfers, private chefs, etc etc. anything you can think of they help set up for you on the front end. When you arrive, Ernesto greets you and is available via text or (Hidden by Airbnb) throughout the whole trip. Dora was amazing and cooked some incredible meals for us. Overall just high end service that went a long way. The house itself was also really cool. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of space, AC working in every room, and the pool was nice to hang out at. I highly recommend booking Casa Paloma for your next trip!

This property begs you to relax. Nice flow of spaces from the pool to the indoor/outdoor dinning rooms to the palapa on the roof where you can lounge in a gentle cool breeze. The house is decorated throughout with beautiful local art pieces. Property is lush with plants, gated and secure. Top property in Sayulita.

Casa Paloma was ideal for our family of ten! Lots of bedrooms and lots of lovely places to hang out together. Working with Dennis was easy and communication was wonderful. All our questions were answered promptly. Having Dora cook for us was the best thing we did – great food and convenient. Renting a golf cart was definitely worth it. Distances aren’t far, but in the heat, riding was easier.

This was my second time staying in Sayulita, but this location was more ideal considering how close it is to the town (you’re essentially in town). There were 14 of us staying and sharing beds, there are 2 casitas with their own kitchens which was nice. There is a walkway outside the entrance that will take you on a very short and beautiful walk to the southern part of the beach. Leading up to the trip, Dennis provided some great advice which was much appreciated. It is clean and spacious, you won’t find many views better than what you get from the rooftop here.
If you’re coming in to town with a group, you’re going to want to book Dennis’ place if it’s available.
