Wonderful Family Vacation

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“Our stay Casa Paloma was nothing short of spectacular! The moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with immaculate cleanliness and a sense of spaciousness that instantly made us feel at home. Each room having its own bathroom was a luxurious touch that added to our comfort and convenience.

“The highlight for our kids was undoubtedly the lovely small pool, where they spent hours splashing and playing, creating cherished memories. The fact that the property was a short walk to town struck the perfect balance for us – close enough to easily explore the vibrant streets and beaches of Sayulita, yet far away enough to enjoy peaceful evenings away from the hustle and bustle.

“Dennis’ team truly made our experience exceptional. Ernesto, the property manager, was incredibly attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. Dora, the housekeeper and chef, delighted us with delicious meals and kept the space pristine. Indigo’s communication prior to our trip was flawless, answering all our questions promptly and making us feel welcomed even before we arrived.

“We can’t recommend this vacation rental enough – it’s a true gem in Sayulita, offering comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!”

Great home for large family or friends group!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Perfect location, set just a few blocks from both the town square and the beach. The house design is perfect for hosting large groups, with all in-suite bedrooms and lots of gathering space. Be together and have places for quiet retreat, too.

[Casa Paloma] more than surpassed our expectations.

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“We chose this house for our annual family gathering, and feel it more than surpassed our expectations. It was perfect for our family of 12 adults and 3 kids – each couple/family unit had private space, and the public gathering space was ample for meals, game nights and morning coffee with the kids. The location, walkable to both the beach and the town within minutes, was perfect for us. Even the youngest kids could easily walk up and down the hill to the beach. It may be our favorite place we’ve ever gone, and that includes lots of locations around the world! The pool was perfect for both the littles and the bigs. Sayulita itself is a charming, walkable village, and the beach and weather are perfect. We would highly recommend this home to large families or groups looking for the perfect vacation spot!”

“We stayed at Casa Paloma with 3 couples and it was very comfortable and relaxing. All of the rooms are spread out well so everyone has a place to go and relax, if needed. The common area and the roof deck are perfect for the group gathering. Excellent views from the roof!! The pool is so nice to have for a quick dip! The staff takes care of everything. Post-Hurricane Wedding Weekend

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

We had an incredible stay in Sayulita and are so grateful to Dennis, Indigo, Ernesto and Dora for making our stay incredible less than 24 hours after Hurricane Lidia. The house is gorgeous, well-equipped and minutes from the heart of Sayulita. Daily breakfast on the patio overlooking the beach, yoga on the roof, and a wonderful Saturday lounging around the pool were all incredible moments. House comfortably sleeps 5-6 couples and was more than enough space to host our friends for an anniversary celebration. If we return to Sayulita with a large group ever again, this is where we’ll stay.

Very lovely villa for a family and friends vacation

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Dennis, Ernesto, and team were are very helpful with information about the stay. The villa itself was perfect for 7 adults and 2 children – several more adults could have stayed with us and it would have still been very comfortable. The views were magnificent! Dora, the housekeeper, cooked dinner for us one night and it was probably the best meal we had during our stay. Highly recommend this rental!

Best Location In Sayulita

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“Our group had such an amazing stay at Casa Paloma! So many unique areas to hang out, but the favorite was definitely the rooftop deck with perfect 180 degree views of the town and ocean. The pool was also such an essential feature as we needed to cool down during the hot summer days. The walk into town was steep, but perfect for keeping us active during our trip. It was so convenient to be only a few minute walk to town. Definitely recommend staying here!”

Beautiful property

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Came here for 6 days with our 3 kids and their families. Plenty of room for all of us. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Spacious, clean and beautiful. Dora, the housekeeper, was wonderful. She cooked 3 fantastic meals for us and did our laundry ($5 a load–laundry room is not open to tenants). Also used their recommended car service from the airport which was prompt and very pleasant. Views are gorgeous. The walk to town is down a path which was easily navigated (my husband and I are in our 70’s and we had no problem). The beach is also a very short walk and is great. All in all everyone had a fantastic time!

Excellent trip to Sayulita with friends

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Casa Paloma well exceeds expectations, even with the beautiful pics available online. Communication was excellent between us and Ernesto, the property manager. Some things came up here and there throughout the week, but Ernesto took care of everything immediately. Dora, the housekeeper, kept the house in great shape but was by no means intrusive. We chose to have Dora cook breakfast for our group daily, because the first day was so delicious and easy. She’s also adorable. We were concerned before the trip about safety, but we never felt unsafe, either on the property, walking into town, or walking around town. There is a strong presence of locals trying to sell you things on the beach, but they do accept a polite, “no thank you.” The view from the house is unreal. Being able to see the surf break made for constant entertainment. Bluetooth speakers are great, all over the property. We did find a scorpion in a shower, so be careful there. That is just something you have to watch out for apparently in that part of the world. I don’t know what else to say. Our party of ten (5 couples in our late 40’s who have been friends for around 25 years) was just blown away with the house, service, town, and our trip. Ten stars. Highly recommend.

Perfect location to town and wonderful stay

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Casa Paloma and the wonderful chef Dora are a delight. From large, well air conditioned bedrooms to lots of spaces to tuck away – we enjoyed our stay immensely. Dora made several breakfasts and dinners making the stay easy and delicious. A couple helpful comments. They provide bath towels and pool towels so only need your own if going to beach. Dora comes in daily for a quick bed making and towel pickup if needed ( we did not) The coffee maker takes ground coffee. We hung out on the upper floor the most so if you go to bed early, take a downstairs bedroom. (Your group may choose a different hang out spot) The guide by Dennis is excellent and take advantage of his hints. The massages were excellent. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Casa Paloma!!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“Casa Paloma is a magnificent home! Beautifully designed, offering privacy for all staying and amazing views! We originally planned on only one meal to be prepared by chef Dora, however we ended having her cook all dinner meals except one!!! She was so wonderful!!! Even offered cooking tips to those of us interested.
“The only notes of recommendation is that for the money we spent to stay at Casa Paloma, it would have been nice to have newer or kept up bedding and home essentials. There were a few areas of the home that looked like they haven’t been kept up as good as they could/should be. In addition, the water temperature and pressure was very very unreliable, which could easily be the area of the home not necessarily anything that could be rectified by the owner.
“All in all it was an amazing stay! Ernesto and Dora were extremely accommodating!!! I would highly recommend Casa Paloma!!”

“Loved staying at casa Paloma with the fam! Easy check in. Ernesto was quick with any of our needs for transportation and golf cart rentals. Dora was the sweetest little cleaner and took great care of us.
“Views were amazing. House had everything we needed. Quick walk down the hill to shops and dining. Just a tip, run the water to get it hot. Only takes a minute but it’ll get there!
“Every room has a private bathroom and the multilevel kitchens were a plus .
“Pool was a good temp, and outdoor bathrooms for the kids were a plus!”

The listing photos can’t capture how perfect this home is. We stayed with 4 couples and 2 children. Each couple had private space. The best vacation ever! We loved Casa Paloma!!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“Our family of 10 had the most amazing time at Casa Paloma! We loved gathering each morning for coffee in the shared open spaces and gazing at the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful beach as Sayulita was waking up. My husband is an architect and we have stayed at many gorgeous places on beaches, but he said Casa Paloma was his favorite. The views!! Everyone had plenty of private space in their bedroom suites and we left feeling happy, restored and closer as a family. And we simply love the pretty town of Sayulita, which is just down the hill. Our boys are surfers, so they loved that they didn’t have to drive to the surf. Yet, the waves are gentle enough for families too. The manager Ernesto was awesome and tended to our every need and Dora, our housekeeper, cooked several delicious meals and was so sweet. We can’t wait to return to Casa Paloma!!”

Excellent Location

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Beautiful home, incredible view and wonderful location. We opted not to get golf carts this year since getting to town and the beach were so easy. Bedrooms all feel very private except for the one behind the main floor kitchen since it’s kind of a pass-through room to the stairs if you’re renting the entire house (we had 9 women) – but not a huge issue. Lots of stairs but absolutely worth it for the views. Communication was all easy and we didn’t have any issues with the property or services – whole thing felt safe/secure. Would definitely rent again.

3 floors of beautiful views

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Lovely stay! We loved the house and Sayulita. Dora (house cleaner and chef) and Ernesto (house manager) we’re excellent. Sayulita is so walkable (yes house is on a hill but felt good) and it means the house has three floors of ocean views!

Sayulita was the perfect size. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, beach, and live music in multiple spaces every night.

Four couples stayed at this property with plenty of space. Structure is three beautiful bedrooms with nice windows. Two nice bedrooms with limited windows. One bedroom that is similar to the ones with limited windows but you have to walk through it to get to the rooftop. We choose to leave that one empty. All have bathrooms which is amazing! We loved having three floors of living space because we could all be together or apart.

Casa Paloma was the perfect fit for our family of 11! Spacious and beautiful, this home never felt crowded. The views were amazing and the location was perfect with restaurants, shops and markets very close by. As mentioned in other reviews, Dora was there daily to freshen up the house and also prepared a wonderful dinner for us. Ernesto responded to any question we had. Incredible Villa with amazing views!!!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Our extended family of ten rented out Casa Paloma for 7 days during the Christmas holiday. This house is amazing!!!! There was plenty of space for our family and the home was so large we were each able to retreat to “private” spaces as necessary. The interior design is beyond incredible and the views are OUT OF CONTROL! The home is located so close to the ocean, you can hear the waves lying in bed with the door closed!! Note – if you are staying in Sayulita during the holiday season – please be prepared for LOUD fireworks and street closures. Other than that – it is a magical time of year in Sayulita!! This was our 8th time visiting Sayulita, and Casa Paloma will go down as one of the best homes we’ve ever had the privilege to stay in!

Fabulous Views, Great Location

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This was our first visit to Sayulita, and Casa Paloma turned out to be a great choice for our family. It’s hilltop location affords amazing views of the town of Sayulita and its beaches from the first floor and rooftop terraces. The grounds are very well maintained, and we made a point of ensuring we utilized all the beautiful spaces throughout our stay. Many afternoons and early evenings were spent enjoying the pool. We were able to walk to everything we needed, utilizing the dedicated path to walk down to town. Although a little steep on the climb back up, members of our group made multiple trips each day to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. Yah-Yah Café was an easy walk for coffees and breakfast as well. Ernesto, the property manager was responsive to any questions and requests we had. We greatly appreciated Dora the housekeeper coming each day and we had her prepare and serve a delicious breakfast and dinner for us. Our thanks to Dennis and his entire team for assistance in making this a memorable stay!

The place to stay in Sayulita

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This is the right place to stay if you’re going to Sayulita and want to be able to walk to everything. The property itself is fantastic, situated at the end of a secluded street along with several other gated houses. Inside the gate are well-maintained tropical plantings and tiled pathways. The house is perfect for multiple families. While everyone is close, there are four living areas (a bedroom by itself on the ground level, then two bedrooms with living space and kitchen that opens to the patio on the ground level, and again another bedroom with dedicated patio on the first floor and a two-room area with the upstairs kitchen and living space). For us, this was a perfect division across family groups and age groups.

The view from the house, and in particular the 1st floor and the rooftop patio, is fantastic–you can see all of Sayulita’s beaches and central markets/restaurants/bars. It sits at the top of a hill, but is only a short walk down a dedicated path to get into town. We found that most everything was easily walking distance, although we did choose to rent a golf cart. I recommend the golf cart partly because it is fun and partly because if you need to go to the bank, for example, it can be a long walk only to find out they have run out of cash at the ATM.

Speaking of cash–expect to pull cash (specifically pesos) frequently, but do pay heed to the advice provided by the owner/staff with respect to which ATMs to use. We found that Google Pay/Apple Pay was accepted at a lot of places like the grocery store and higher-value shops, but food and services tended more towards cash only. Generally vendors will let you pay in dollars or pesos, but the premium on using dollars could be as high as 25% versus the formal exchange rate. So in other words, pull pesos, but be aware that it is common for the ATMs to run out of cash, and that the ATMs also have relatively low per-transaction maximums (though many allow you to just perform multiple transactions).

Back to the house. Great pool, stocked with the appliances and kitchen needs, AC worked perfectly, heated pool, grill with both gas and charcoal, daily cleaning, etc. Easy, as you’d want it on vacation. The staff, both at the property (property manager, housekeeper) as well as for Dennis, are *super* communicative and even more helpful. Easily the best experience I’ve had in that area, and *way* beyond what I would expect. Superb, and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Paloma.

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“We had a lovely stay at Casa Paloma.
“The views and location are excellent. Short walk to the beach and to the town.
“We especially loved and used often the big open dining room to deck overlooking the beach.
“Dora, the housekeeper and cook was excellent – she made us breakfast and lunch daily and was happy to accommodate our various dietary requests.
“Ernesto was very responsive to any questions we had and dropped by immediately to fix things as requested.
“The house is large and well appointed – the local art displayed throughout is original and a step above the usual which was quite delightful.
“Three of the bedrooms are amazing with big doors opening onto west (ocean facing) decks west. The other three rooms not so much so this is something to be aware of if you are planning on using all of them and everyone is chipping in the same amount of money as it won’t seem fair. Something to discuss before you arrive.”

Casa Paloma was the perfect place to celebrate…in paradise. Will absolutely be back!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

“Casa Paloma was the perfect place to celebrate our birthday with friends in paradise. The house is well suited for a large group with plenty of space to hang out together and privacy with every beautifully appointed room. The views are exceptional, the decor is beautiful and each bedroom was comfy, private, and had its own bathroom. The pool is fabulous…kept in the shade with its own outdoor shower and toilet so no need to track water in the house when enjoying pool time. The staff was first class…Dora not only kept the house clean but cooked some of the most amazing authentic Mexican food we’ve ever had. Ernesto ensured our grocery delivery was set up on arrival and helped arrange a handy golf cart rental for us which was delivered and picked up at the house. He even arranged for massage therapists to come on site-and they were incredible…better than therapists at most spas in the US. He also was on call for any questions and handled all our needs flawlessly. It is hard to plan 5 days away with a large group. Casa Paloma made it all easy allowing us to unplug on arrival. Will absolutely be back!”

Spectacular Stay!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Wow! Where to begin – Casa Paloma is a beautiful property in the heart of Sayulita. Although only a 5 minute walk from town, the house still feels tucked away and peaceful with expansive views of the ocean.

Planning transportation, meals, massages, and activities prior with the property management team was a breeze. Ernesto, the property manager went above and beyond with last minute requests and was quick to respond to any questions or changes we had.

We were a group of 13 and the trip was totally seamless with no hiccups mostly thanks to Ernesto, Indigo, and Dennis the owner. Thank you!

The layout of the house is great for communal and family living, the bedrooms are nicely spread a part so people can have as much private time as needed. The bedrooms are gorgeous. One note, the 5 bedrooms with queen or king beds feel comparable and equally lovely while the bedroom with 2 – 3 single beds feels a bit smaller and less substantial. It is a great room for kids but adults might be desiring one of the other rooms.

All in all this was a 10/10 vacation for all 13 of us and we highly recommend it! Definitely have at least a few breakfasts cooked by the chef. Also the enchilada dinner we had by the chef was our favorite out of any restaurant we tried on the trip!

Thank you again Casa Paloma team – we’ll definitely be back!

We loved this house! The location is outstanding. So easy to walk to town and the beach. We utilized, Dora, the chef and she was a great cook, punctual and so kind. The pool was perfect for our kids, as it provided a place for the toddlers to be able to stand. We loved having separate spaces for our two families as well. There were some small ants in the entryways but probably unavoidable considering how the house is laid out. We loved being able to request certain luxuries on the request form and the communication was pretty great overall. However we didn’t get confirmation of certain activities that we requested until we asked upon arrival and wish we would’ve had that planned and set ahead of time.

Awesome spot for a large group. Super close to town, no need for a golf cart. The communication was incredible from start to finish. Indigo checked in with us after the booking was made and also sent a guide a few weeks beforehand that included a questionnaire to collect room arrangement requests, airport transfers, private chefs, etc etc. anything you can think of they help set up for you on the front end. When you arrive, Ernesto greets you and is available via text or (Hidden by Airbnb) throughout the whole trip. Dora was amazing and cooked some incredible meals for us. Overall just high end service that went a long way. The house itself was also really cool. Highly Recommend

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This was my second time staying in Sayulita, but this location was more ideal considering how close it is to the town (you’re essentially in town). There were 14 of us staying and sharing beds, there are 2 casitas with their own kitchens which was nice. There is a walkway outside the entrance that will take you on a very short and beautiful walk to the southern part of the beach. Leading up to the trip, Dennis provided some great advice which was much appreciated. It is clean and spacious, you won’t find many views better than what you get from the rooftop here.

If you’re coming in to town with a group, you’re going to want to book Dennis’ place if it’s available.

Beautiful Home on the hill!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This is the second time we’ve rented from Dennis and both experiences were quite enjoyable! Casa Paloma is perched above the town of Sayulita with stunning views of the coastline and surrounding hills. This six ensuite bedroom property has plenty of room & kitchens (three) whether you are 6 couples or an extended family there is no shortage of privacy, space or amenities (rooftop area to the pool) to make your time in Sayulita memorable. We love the easy access to town afforded by a footpath a few yards from this cul-de-sac location. The staff is attentive/responsive to requests and quietly maintains the house while you enjoy the sights & sounds of Sayulita. One note on the sounds – it travels up the hill from town until the wee hours of the morning so if your a lite sleeper I recommend earplugs or sleep sounds on your phone. We would definitely recommend Casa Paloma!

Casa Paloma is an incredible house. 5 minute walk to beach or town. Located on a hill with magnificent views of beach and ocean from several terraces. Beautiful art located throughout the house. Spectacular Oceanfront Home

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Casa Paloma was the perfect rental for our family of eleven ranging through three generations. Located on a hill overlooking the ocean, it was less than a five minute walk to the beach or into town. Ernesto, the House Manager, and Dora, the housekeeper, were both terrific. The house itself is spectacular and has several terraces with beautiful views. Each room is unique and there is an abundance of beautiful artwork located throughout the house. Casa Paloma exceeded our expectations in every way.

Casa Paloma is Perfect

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

The best vacation home rental we have ever stayed at is Casa Paloma. It was extremely comfortable for our family of 9. The views from the various decks was inspiring. The beach and water were perfect. Ernesto and Dora took care of us like royalty.

The house is at the top of a very. very steep hill. if anyone in your group is not in good physical condition or a senior citizen, you should rent a golf cart to go to the beach or into town.

We had an extraordinary stay at Casa Paloma. The home is gracious and welcoming. Eduardo, the on the ground concierge, accommodated all of our requests including hiring a chef and masseuse for the group. The massages were INCREDIBLE, btw. I highly recommend. Thank you for a gracious stay.

A place to gather

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

We stayed as a group and have a lovely time. We had Dora cook breakfasts in the morning which was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating and generous with group needs. The layout is funky but we liked it because it gave everyone space. It’s hard two gauge from the online details about the layout. If it helps rooms 1&2 are the top floor, 2nd, room 6 a step down off the 2nd floor. Rooms 3&4 are the the first floor and room 5 is a step down by the entry gate. We came just after the storms and it actually rained quite a lot but we so enjoyed sitting on the patios watching the rain. We loved that there were common open air areas but you could retreat to your rooms and relax in the AC. Also something to note the wall to town is super short but does have a decent hill to climb and sidewalk that was quite mossy. Not a prob for our group but something to consider if traveling with older people. Had a great time and would recommend.

Amazing View and Location

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This was a family trip this year and we decided to stay in Sayulita. There was about 14 of us including kids and we booked the entire house. The rooms were unique and larger, one room even had a kitchenette. Uppon arrival Ernesto gave as a tour of the property, the house was clean and ready for us to use. Each room had AC and kept us veery cool during the night. The Living space was big enough for our family to gather and enjoy the eavenings. The space was very nice and amodating and were very attentive during our stay. This is a perfect location since it is only about 1 block away from the beach and a very short walking distance to the down town are. Would definitely visit again, well worth the money for unforgettable memories.

Amazing long weekend

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Beautiful house in a perfect location. Town and beach are two minutes down the hill. Ernesto, the property manager, was very responsive if we needed anything and helped us get from the airport and coordinated Covid tests for 14 people – amazing. Dora, the cook, made us so many great meals. Would love to go back.

Everything you want

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

Amazing house with beautiful views, close to the beach, close to town. Everything you want in a sayulita vacation. Communication was easy and straightforward. This is the 4th large house I’ve stayed in in sayulita and it was definitely the best hands down. Property and pool were incredible with shaded areas and different patios for every occasion.

Stunning Stay!!!

star-onstar-onstar-onstar-onstar-on

This was an absolutely stunning experience we will definitely stay again. Pool is perfect with the saltwater — we had an AMAZING chef named Daisy come and make us chicken tacos with a habanero sauce to die for. Entire staff is incredible and Dora was amazing about cleaning and sanitizing to stay safe.
